The Microbial Hydroponics (Mi-Hy) project is a 4-year project comprised of 7 partnering principal investigators and their teams: Rachel Armstrong (Catholic University of Leuven / KU Leuven, Belgium), Ioannis Ieropoulos(University of Southampton, UK), Neil Willey (University of the West of England, UK), Jorge Barriuso (Center for Biological Research CIB at the Spanish National Research Council CSIC, Spain), Peter Hanappe (Sony Computer Science Laboratories, France), Markus Schmidt (Biofaction, Austria) and Jovana Grahovac (Faculty of Techology at Novi Sad, Serbia). The project is part of the EIC CO2 and Nitrogen Management and Valorisation Portfolio and funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Framework Programme under the project ID 101114746. UK participants are supported by UKRI grants number 10079655 (SOTON) and 10078744 (UWE). The project is executed by a research consortium under the guidance of its project coordinator:
